Nicolette Black is a visual artist and educator whose practice bridges sculpture, textiles, painting and drawing. She uses recycled objects to exploring memory and place, often from an aeroplane’s viewpoint.
Nicolette has a BAVisArts from the Australian National University. She has taught in many institution, including Belconnen Art Gallery, Goulburn Regional Gallery, and as a guest tutor in the papermaking department at the Australian National University. Nicolette has exhibited nationally and internationally: in New York, USA and Bologne, Italy. She has work held in collections nationally and internationally.
