Hiroshi Yamaguchi runs a custom timber furniture studio and woodwork classes. He aims to add skillful and authentic Japanese detail to his designs. He sources sustainable timbers obtained locally, including Canberra street trees and recycled timber.
Chopsticks making and Kumundar kid’s wooden Jungle Gym workshop is on!
Hiroshi will have small crafts available for sale. Commissioning details and examples of past work will be on display. Class information will be available and bookings for 2026 sessions will open on this day. At the hands-on workshop, you will have the opportunity to try out some Japanese tools to make your own chopsticks!
We will also run a kid’s Jungle Gym building workshop called Kumundar, which was invented in Japan.
