Five ceramic artists who share studio spaces in a unique bushland setting on beautiful Ngunnawal/Ngambri country nestled against the backdrop of the Brindabella Ranges look forward to welcoming visitors into their unique studio environment to gain insight in their practice and explore a thoughtfully created range of both functional and sculptural ceramics. Participating artists:
Emina Adriaans (e.a.clay) attentively produces a range of small batch functional ware for both plant and table, which will be available for visitors to experience and purchase.
Elena Bozkho Marshall's range of vibrantly coloured and richly patterned vessels, plates and playful sculptural creatures will be available to explore and purchase.
Lisa Lokki will provide visitors with the opportunity to explore her eclectic and thoughtfully produced range of wheel-thrown bowls, cups, mugs, beakers, pourers, scoops, vases and small planters which will be available for purchase.
Karen Cromwell will present her distinctive and highly personalised hand-built ceramic vessels and sculptural objects, ranging from larger pieces for contemporary spaces to more intimately sized works for home and gifting.
Lea Durie will be demonstrating the making of both exhibition and production works, with a rare chance to purchase pieces from her Mud Dept. line. The studio will also host a seconds and samples sale with heavily reduced prices, plus a special kiln opening and unpack on Sunday.
