Gabrielle holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts and diplomas in Secondary Education and Community Welfare. She has over 35 years of experience in management, project coordination, and arts promotion. 

In addition, Gabrielle runs Bandicoot Pottery in Cobargo, New South Wales, where she teaches workshops and classes. She is also deeply committed to helping young people, having served as a Youth and Community Development Officer for the Red Cross, a Learning Support Officer at Narooma High School, and a teacher for Charles Sturt University's DisARTster youth art workshops following the Black Summer bushfires. 

She is an active member and Chairperson of the Spiral Gallery Arts Cooperative, as well as a member of the Lazy Lizard Gallery, where she produces geometric-patterned utility wares for their exhibitions. Her travels to various communities in Australia, New Zealand, Africa, the United States, and Asia have influenced her works.
