Leah Oliver is a fibre artist based in the snowy mountains. Her work primarily includes basket weaving and crochet, with a passion for incorporating different mediums into these techniques. 

Leah’s work is materials-led, drawing inspiration from the texture and form of found and foraged materials. Her creative practice spans both functional and decorative pieces, using plants and natural fibres in combination to explore the creative potential of found or discarded materials. As an educator, Leah provides a supportive space for skill-building through her basketry and crochet workshops, encouraging participants to tap into their own creativity. Her materials are foraged and sourced sustainably, to ensure a deep respect for place and practice.
