MW Leather is Megan Watson, a leather atelier, photographer, and filmmaker, living and working in the heart of Canberra. Working in visual arts for decades, Megan turned her attention to leather work in 2021 and has since found new ways to represent the timeless utility and beauty of leather.
"Using traditional techniques all my products are individually created and handsewn with care and attention to detail. With a focus on good design and quality materials, each piece has it’s own unique characteristics and will develop over time to reflect the users own personality. My creations, range from wallets and accessories to bags and custom commissions. I try to showcase my skill, care and commitment to quality and locally produced goods. I design goods that are made to last, become favourite objects and enhance the users experience of a tactile and practical item."
