Mo Resin is a resin artist and jewellery designer whose work transforms precious metals and resin into wearable sculptural art. Born in France and trained in interior design in Paris, Mo’s love for art led him to Sydney in 2005—after experiencing the transformative effect of Sculptures by the Sea—and he became an Australian citizen in 2011. While living in France, Mo won first prize at the prestigious Art et Métier school in 2006. Drawn to the way light interacts with curves and textures, he experimented with curvilinear resin forms inset with shimmering gold, silver and copper leaf—creating unique limited-edition jewellery pieces that are “art you can wear”.
Mo's works closely with Indigenous Australian artists—most notably Warlukurlangu artists from Yuendumu, and independent artists such as Kerry Madawyn McCarthy—transforming their Dreaming paintings into wearable artworks. This collaboration supports Indigenous communities (10 % royalties go back to the artists), deepens his cultural connection, and elevates each piece with rich storytelling and meaning.
Each design is handmade in Australia, crafted on stainless steel or sterling-silver-plated bases with durable resin and precious-metal leaf. Packaging includes a curated artist statement explaining the artwork and cultural Dreaming, highlighting Mo’s ethical production and limited-stock, made-to-order approach.
Mo's work has featured in boutique gift galleries and art trails across Sydney’s Southern Highlands and Bundeena/Maianbar region, capturing appreciation from customers nationwide . His focus on technique, storytelling, light, and cultural legacy positions him perfectly for the distinctly curated, high-quality aesthetic of the Undercurrent Design Market.
