Sasha Trail is an artist and illustrator based at her home studio in central Canberra. Her practice spans several mediums, driven by a curiosity for slow and ritualistic making processes. With a keen eye for observational studies, her paper pulp series marks a new direction towards the exploration of reclaimed fibres and a focus on construction from destruction. Sasha graduated from Australian National University School of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Design in 2021. She has since worked as a graphic designer, illustrator and arts administrator, and exhibited across several Canberra galleries.
