After studying in Australia, Chaseling travelled widely developing new works in new locations through teaching, residencies and workshops. Recent solo exhibitions have been in the European Museum of Contemporary Glass, Germany, the Musee du Verre, France and Canberra Museum and Gallery, Australia.
 
In 2006 Chaseling was invited as the Levehulme Research Fellow to the University of Sunderland in the UK and has since lived and worked in Berlin, Germany and Melbourne, Australia continuing his own art practice.
 
Chaseling’s work is represented in many international museums and private collections including the Australian National Gallery, The Pergamon Museum, Germany and 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Japan.
