Sean O'Connell is an artist and metalworker who creates using a wide variety of mediums and materials. Originally trained as a jeweller, he is currently working on a refining a range of hammered stainless steel kettles, crafting entirely by hand from his home studio in subalpine Tasmania.
Sean has won juried crafts prizes nationally and abroad, and he is represented in several national public collections. He studied at Enmore Design Centre and Canberra School of Art, and completed his PhD at Sydney College of the Arts.
