Sueanne is a recently retired deputy principal and visual arts teacher who worked across Sydney, The Central Coast, The Riverina and Queanbeyan areas of NSW in a 38 year career. Since retiring, Sueanne has established her studio, Artroom 1, where she practices printmaking, painting, mixed media and sculpture.

Sueanne is developing a personal iconography, mining experience and events as stiumuli for her work. This iconography often includes faceless figures, the rabbit, mountain landscapes, and the sky. Transmutation, the night sky. alchemy, the lunar calendar, places, love and, connections are navigated and, for Sueanne, better understood through artmaking. Sueanne works across media including printmaking, sculpture and collage.
