"My practice investigates about manual labour, migrant stories and nature as a form of belonging. I am primarily a painter who loves public art and exploring a wide range of materials including weaving and a collaging. I aim to create works that invite reflection on how we are interconnected, I am particularly interested in creating a bridge between my personal experiences of life and other community voices around to form connections. Growing up in a coffee region surrounded by nature and moving to live in a place where the bush is in my backyard made me work having in mind a conscience about the environment and how it becomes our home."
