Notice of 2025 Annual General Meeting | 6pm Tuesday 24 March 2026

I am writing to inform you that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Craft + Design Canberra reporting on 2025, will take place at Craft + Design Canberra, Level 1, North Building, 180 London Circuit, Canberra at 6pm on Tuesday 24 March 2026. 

All Craft + Design Canberra Members are invited to attend and meet with Craft + Design Canberra Board and staff. We require a quorum of 15 members to run the AGM. 

At the conclusion of the AGM, two special members-only door prizes will be drawn. The first prize is a $300 voucher to the Craft + Design Canberra shop and second is your current membership renewed on us. Only members in attendance will be eligible.  

The agenda for the AGM meeting is as follows

1. Welcome and apologies 
2. Acceptance of Minutes of Annual General Meeting held on 25 March 2025. 
3. CEO + Artistic Director Report 2025  
4. Chair's Report 2025 
5. Financial Report ending 31 December 2025, including Treasurer’s Report and Auditor comments
6. Election of Board of Management
7. Other Business

A copy of the Audited Financial Statements and Annual Report for 2025 will be published on the Craft + Design Canberra website once the audit is complete, one week prior to the meeting on 17 March 2026 at craftanddesigncanberra.org/pages/corporate-documents.  

All eligible members wishing to vote at the AGM, including Accredited Professional and Maker Members are required to have current, up-to-date membership. Please note Student members, Organisational members and Friends members (Craft + Design Lovers) are not eligible to vote.  

If you cannot attend and you would like a proxy vote please use the form and email to membership@craftanddesigncanberra.org.  

There are three upcoming vacancies for our Board of Management — one Ordinary Member, one First Nations Representative and one Artist Representative position. If you would like to nominate as an Artist Representative, please complete this FORM.  If you know anyone who may want to nominate as an Ordinary Member or First Nations Representative please see information HERE. 

If you are planning to travel by car, a map of available car parks can be found on the ACT Government website here. Please note that a number of government projects around Craft + Design Canberra are currently underway in the city. Please follow signage in place, allow for additional travel time and plan ahead.
