Earlier this month we were honoured that our exhibition touring Glass Utopia was exhibited at the 2021 Milan Design Week.

This was the last stage of the tour, after its debut at DESIGN Canberra in 2019 where it was displayed at our gallery and the Embassy of Italy in Australia, then followed by Design Tasmania and Venice Glass Week in 2020.

The exhibition showed the parallel between the Venetian and Australian contemporary glass production - a selection of works by six Italian and six Australian designers and artists.

The works are now on their long journey home.

A huge thanks to all who have been involved including curators Mr.Lawrence, exhibiting designers Federica Biasi, Gala Fernandez, Federico Peri, Stories of Italy, Zanellato/Bortotto, Matteo Zorzenoni, Peter Bowles, Mel Douglas, Liam Fleming, Jenny Kemarre Martiniello, Elizabeth Kelly, Tom Skeehan and also the generous support received from the Embassy of Italy in Australia, Ausglass, Intesa Sanpaolo and Conzortio Tutela Prosecco DOC.

Mr.Lawrence is a Design and Brand Consultancy founded in 2018 by Annalisa Rosso, design writer, content consultant and independent curator, currently editor-in-chief of Icon Design magazine (Mondadori); and Francesco Mainardi (aka theBrandist), brand strategist and creative director, currently professor of Design Management at Istituto Marangoni.
