X2 Calibre Necklace raw/black/gold
Regular price $230.00 Save $-230.00Material: Stainless steel, 22 carat matt gold-plate, black powder coat
About the piece:
The X2 Calibre Necklace was inSync's first three-layer necklace, and it still feels like a breakthrough. Three hand-drawn stainless steel chains in raw steel, black powder coat and 22ct gold plate, layered on a single neoprene cord and sitting wide at the chest. The forms sit slightly offset, creating depth and shadow, and the three-way contrast gives the necklace a complexity that rewards a closer look.
This necklace was made for the woman who wants something genuinely rare, something that came from a specific moment of creative ambition and will not be repeated. It works with a wide neckline or open collar where all three forms can sit and be seen, and it is the kind of necklace that makes a simple outfit feel like a considered one.
You put it on and feel like you are wearing something that matters. Because you are.
This is for the woman who wants one piece to make a simple outfit feel finished. It brings presence to what you already own, so getting dressed feels more creative and less overthought.

Birds in the Flowers
Regular price $180.00 Save $-180.00Tamara Design Co cushion covers have been designed by Tamara using hand drawn images inspired by Australian flora and fauna.
Material: Linen and cotton blend fabric with oxford edge and invisible zip
Dimensions: 40cm x 60cm - Lumber. PET insert size 45cm x 65cm
About the Maker: Tamara Schneider is the principal behind Tamara Design Co.
The spark for Tamara’s obsession began while studying fashion design at Sydney’s Whitehouse school back in the late 1990s, here Tamara was introduced to the wallpaper designs of William Morris and Florence Broadhurst, she quickly become enamoured by their use of intricate patterns and the consummate skill that was evident in their works.
Starting from a slow burn Tamara went on to study textile design and screen printing at RMIT, honing the skills she had developed during her earlier studies she went on to produce some truly innovative and remarkable designs. Her talent for pattern design was noted by several important figures in the Melbourne scene, resulting in Tamara being awarded an internship with UK’s Timorous Beasties upon her graduation in 2010.
Her experience with Timorous Beasties further fueled her obsession, and having decided that that was what she wanted to do with the rest of her life Tamara returned to Melbourne and founded Funky Wombat Textiles in 2011. In 2016 Funky Wombat Textiles was rebranded to Tamara Design Co.
Returning to her roots, in 2017 Tamara relocated her studio practice to Canberra just ten minutes away from her childhood home.

Believing in timelessness over trends, he combines clean lines and considered composition to create wearable jewellery essentials that transcend the seasons.
With a focus on sustainability, Marie-Pier put in place eco-friendly practices from the start, and is now partnering with Ecologi to offset her environmental footprint, making Days of August a 100% carbon neutral business.

Blue and green striped bowl
Regular price $105.00 Save $-105.00Materials: fused, kiln formed glass
Dimensions: H 7 cm x W 24 cm
From the maker: "Limitations imposed by kilnsizes make design, layout and dimensions important for my work. The glass, with it's light and pure colours bring the dull black and white sketch plans to life. Seemingly with a mind of it's own the molten glass will decide just exactly where it will run, to bring another challenge to a most rewarding process. Using a 'parfused' or 'contoured fusing" process, gives the finished pieces more texture and more edges for the light and colours to move and intermingle." Peter Revelman

Patterned celadon bowl
Regular price $149.00 Save $-149.00Gorgeous bowl, handmade by Sophi Suttor
Materials: ceramics, glaze

Meet the Maker: Sophi Suttor's conceptual work examines the loss of habitat and its replacement by the generic she is looking at specimens through the filter of the work of Rohan Ellis. Producing fragments of the generic as a demonstration of how easily we lose the detail and cultural stamp of our personal landscape
Works are childlike and toy like to highlight how easily we are seduced by pretty things. Using lots of generic flowers and toy like items to highlight how readily we accept the generic. This acceptance erodes national identity and leads to devaluation of all things native to Australia this process is aided and abetted by globalisation.

Round Plates
Regular price $121.00 Save $-121.00Artist statement: My work examines the loss of habitat and our concept of identity. Replacement by the generic that diminishes who we are. I produce fragments of Australiana as a demonstration of how easily we lose the detail and cultural stamp of our personal landscape.
I am researching the ceramics of Wembley Ware that produces uniquely Australian images and prosaic generic images.
Works are lush to highlight how easily we are seduced by pretty things. This Wembley Ware series is identified by the use of white earthen ware, use of lustres and potent Australian images.
I use lots of generic items to highlight how readily we accept the generic. This acceptance erodes national identity and leads to the devaluation of all things native to Australia. The devaluation of the personal process is aided and abetted by globalisation.
