CRAFT + DESIGN CANBERRA CALL OUTS

Member Opportunity | Canberra Centre Public Art Activation

Craft + Design Canberra seeks proposals from artists, crafts people and designers from the ACT and surrounding region to express interest in producing a public art work or works for exhibition in the Canberra Centre from 1–31 October 2024 in response to the 2024 Craft + Design Canberra Festival theme, Regenerate.

Regenerate | No longer is it enough to be sustainable, we must innovate to solve the big problems of our time, to reverse the devastating impacts of climate change and regenerate environments, relationships and communities. The 2024 Festival advocates for design thinking, imagination collaboration and making by hand to support innovation and problem solving providing hope for our future.

2024 DESIGN MARKETS | 2 NOVEMBER 2024 | CALL OUT CLOSED

With the return of the Craft + Design Canberra Festival we are introducing the new and exciting Craft + Design Canberra Festival Design Markets! The Design Markets are a celebration of all things local and everything craft and design. Our Design Market program is supported by the City Renewal Authority. 

The Design Markets will take place in Civic Square in Canberra CBD, on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country. 

From 10am–4pm we will be hosting a day of live music, delicious food and most importantly local artists and designers. The Craft + Design Canberra Festival Design Markets will be an opportunity to sell your products and promote your brand to a wide range of audiences. 

Would you like to be a part of the Design Markets? This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work, engage with curious audiences, and be part of the Craft + Design Canberra community for an exciting day filled with creative practice!
