Field is a tiered serving tray with rotating timber plains. Designed by Australian design-icon Helen Kontouris, the tray was inspired by the 10,000-year-old history of agriculture carved into cultivated landscapes. From an aerial view, the natural timber grains represent the stratum forms of landscape terrains. The purposeful rotating timber tiers invite a tradition of food sharing, and bringing people together. Field is Australian-made using a combination of hand turned and machined manufacturing and is oiled and assembled in Queensland. All selected timbers are FSC certified. Tiers can be dissembled for easy storage.
