‘It takes a little blood, sweat and tears to grow’ 1/30 +1 Sauna Sessions. Started at 10.11am 1/7/2024 at 4 degrees outside.

This was my first day’s title, responding to the word of the day and beginning my month of practice for Craft + Design Canberra’s journaling challenge.

But I could have equally included JOY and SURPRISE in place of blood and tears.

Drawing on the glass of the sauna is something I do to cope with the heat in the final minutes of a session.

Having a different focus each day gave me so much joy and I was often surprised by my own response.
