I have really enjoyed taking part in the challenge. It was rather wonderful to have a ’mini-project’ each day to focus on. I found the prompt words took me down different rabbit holes and I was more likely to experiment with techniques and approaches. As I was travelling for the first two weeks, it was great to be able to have something creative to think about and do - perfect for planes and trains! This also meant that my materials for my textile responses were far more limited (just what I could fit into a ziplock sandwich bag) - which forced me to be more inventive with my responses and not fall back on ‘easy’ answers’.

I loved looking at responses from other participants each day on Instagram - so many wonderfully creative people in this community. I appreciated the positive and supportive nature of the interactions on this platform.
