Associate Member

Greta Cooper graduated from The Australian National University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) majoring in Printmedia and Drawing. Greta is inspired by the human relationship with the environment and is particularly fascinated by the environment’s resilience and adaptation to climate change. Greta rethinks the importance of the exhibition space and seeks out other places where art can exist outside of the conventional gallery space or by using the space she has available in unique ways.

Greta works across a range of mediums, including printmaking, textiles, photography, painting, and drawing. In 2020 Greta was awarded two Emerging Artist Support Scheme awards from the ACT Legislative Assembly and the Gallery of Small Things in Watson. Greta had her first solo show in the Mechanics Institute in Moruya (NSW) in 2022. She has also exhibited in group exhibitions at Megalo Print Studio, ACT Legislative Assembly and is a current stable artist at the Gallery of Small Things, Watson (ACT).
