Jemma Copland is a multi-disciplinary and textile artist from Wollongong, Australia. Moving to Canberra to study Visual Arts at the Australian National University, Jemma was able to develop her practice in textile arts throughout her degree. She participated in the 2024 Graduating Exhibition at the ANU and received the Alliance Francaise Exhibition Award, the Craft + Design Emerging Contemporaries Exhibition Award and the Canberra Spinners and Weavers Exhibition Award. Working part time as an artist, Jemma intends to continue her practice in Textiles art while investigating and learning from other creatives in Canberra to further her practice.  In 2025, Jemma will be participating in the Alliance Francaise Exhibition in August, as well as the Canberra Spinners and Weavers Inc Exhibition coming soon. As a multi-disciplinary artist, Jemma has also worked in other areas including design, and conceptual art. She intends to work on artworks that involve the audience and post on her website, to help promote the works.
