Julie Bradley works with collage and drawing creating mixed media works on paper which investigate ideas of connectedness and express aspects of the emotional landscape and states of being.
In 2020 Julie received the CAPO Fellowship, the City News Artist of the Year Award and the Canberra Critics Circle award.
Julie has been represented in numerous selected art prizes including: Adelaide Perry Drawing Prize, Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award, Sunshine Coast Art Award and the Rick Amor Drawing Prize.
In 2019 and 2023, Julie was the international visiting fellow at the Ballinglen Art Foundation in Ireland.
Work by is held in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Australian National University, ACT Legislative Assembly, Canberra Museum and Gallery, University of Canberra Collection, Bundanon Trust, Calvary Hospital Birth Centre, Lu Rees Archive, Canberra Hospital, Goulburn Regional Art Gallery, Hurstville Museum and Gallery and the Ballinglen Museum of Contemporary Art in Ireland.
