We are seeking individuals with a passion for craft and design to join our small dedicated team, delivering DESIGN Canberra. DESIGN Canberra 2017 will be inspired by the spirit of Modernism — a celebration of creativity and experimentation.
Volunteering for DESIGN Canberra is a great way to see exhibitions and events come together, meet people and get involved in the local Canberra craft and design community. It is a great environment to learn new skills and build your resume. There are a range of different projects, offering different hours and flexibility to fit in around work and life commitments.

Curatorial volunteer opportunities and benefits include:
- Curating – pop up exhibitions for Living Rooms (see below)
- Exhibitions – assist with mounting and de-mounting exhibitions
- Visitor services – greeting audiences, providing information on the festival
- Free tickets to attend VIP events and exhibition openings
- Hands on experience and behind the scenes insights into exhibitions and festivals
- Letter of reference to support future job applications
