Duty Statement

The Administration Officer is the primary support to the CEO and the team, maintaining the smooth running of the office and engaging closely with the staff, Board of Management, artist members, partner arts organisations, government, businesses, educational institutions, sponsors and philanthropic supporters to promote contemporary craft and design. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in administration, office and relationship management - supporting staff, artists and partners; as well as experience in working in collaboration with other organisations and partners.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

1.      Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a productive contributor in a small team and establish positive working relationships with staff, board, members, artists, sponsors, internal and external stakeholders.

 

2.      Excellent organisational, project management, administration, and budgeting skills including demonstrated experience in proactively managing a high-volume workload - including multitasking, prioritising, self-direction, initiative, and flexibility.

 

3.      High level written communication skills with demonstrated experience preparing and editing emails, project plans, reports, presentations, contracts, grant applications, marketing copy, budgets and acquittals with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

 

4.      High level of digital literacy with the ability to use administration, customer relations, event management, financial and presentation software (e.g. MS Office, Monday, Canva).
