Public Symposium

ANU School of Art & Design Public symposium in conjunction with Craft ACT exhibition openings of Cupped Hands and I thought I heard a bird.

Our next group of exhibitions, Cupped Hands featuring Simon Cottrell & VickyShukuroglou and I thought I heard a bird featuring; Ashley Eriksmoen, Fernando do Campo, Joyce Hwang, Madeleine Kelly, Patsy Hely & Raquel Ormella will be opening next Thursday 21 March at 6 pm. In conjunction with our new exhibitions, ANU School of Art & Design will be hosting a fantastic symposium called "To see ourselves as part of something larger".


The symposium will be running over two days (21 - 22 March) and features an exciting line up of speakers including; Bruce Pascoe, Simon Cottrell & Vicky Shukuroglou, Richard Beggs, Joyce Hwang, Louise Wallis, Ashley Eriksmoen, Mitchell Whitelaw, Madeline Kelly, Fernando do Campo and Patsy Hely. "To see ourselves as part of something larger" considers how we might understand our place within complex ecosystems, be these nature reserves or the streets where we live.
