Pamela Irving works across media, including collage, painting and sculpture. Her works adorn many public and private spaces in Melbourne and Internationally for example Larry La Trobe, the dog sized bronze in front of the Melbourne Town Hall and her mosaic reverie at Luna Park Melbourne. Her works are unashamedly playful, joyous and often irreverent. Where possible she utilise discarded objects, ceramics and junk to create new forms. She has been creating works for exhibition and public spaces full time sine 1982. As well as her work in Australia, she teaches annually at the Chicago Mosaic School and exhibits at the Gallery of Contemporary Mosaic in Chicago. Her studio is based in the quirky Patterson Village, a bayside suburb of Melbourne.
