About the Maker: Wayne Guest has over thirty-five years of experience in working with silver and non-precious metals. He has exhibited his work widely within Australia and internationally, participating in over forty exhibitions.
His work is highly recognised and displayed in numerous public collections, notably the Australian National Gallery, Canberra. Apart from his exhibitions, Wayne has consistently displayed and sold his distinctive work in galleries throughout his career. His work is also included in various private collections throughout Australia and overseas. His many significant commissions include the Australian Governor General’s gift to HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
Wayne taught silversmithing for more than thirty years, starting at Monash University and later at RMIT University. Wayne continues his studio work as well as assisting and mentoring emerging artists.
