About the Maker: Luna Ryan first came to Australia in 1981. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in 1990 and received the Australian National University Award. Since graduating she has run a fulltime studio-based art practice and from 2008 works from Canberra Glassworks. Her work is in the collection of the ANU, University of Canberra, Canberra Museum and Gallery, Wagga Wagga Artglass collection and some of her collaborative works with Jock Puautjimi are in the collection of the National Gallery of Australia and the University of Wollongong. Her most recent solo exhibition was held in 2021 at M16 art gallery.
