Posts are made from tarnish-free hypoallergenic surgical steel.

Inspired by rattle can splatter patterns, these handcrafted works employ a 0.2mm nozzle and needle to delicately hand airbrush and uniquely paint the borosilicate glass spheres from within. The glass is shock proof and lightweight, delivering a sense of ethereal minimalism.

From a family of well-known Canberra based artists (printmaker father Jorg Schmeisser and textile designer mother Keiko Amenomori Schmeisser), TEa was born in Australia and educated in glass, ceramics, gold and silver in Australia and Japan. Taë combines vibrant colours and contemporary techniques with traditional materials to create modern, accessible and affordable wearable glass art works.
