About the Maker: Robyn Campbell is a multi-media artist based in Canberra. Her career in the creative industries has spanned over thirty years, during which time she has been involved in more than 60 exhibitions.
Robyn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (visual) from the Australian National University (ANU) in 1993, majoring in Glass. She studied under Klaus Moje and Steven Proctor, both internationally recognised glass artists and teachers.
Robyn established her first studio in Canberra in 1993 and continues to have a studio practice creating sculptural work using a variety of materials. Robyn’s work is informed by her interest in areas such as design, glass, ceramics, sculpture and drawing.
In 2010 Robyn completed an Advanced Diploma in Building Design, working for several years with a Canberra based architectural firm.
In 2013, a refocus on her studio practice led to Robyn gain new skills in ceramics. Her sculptural works in clay, glass and other materials, have since been exhibited regularly and have been acknowledged in recent years by winning several significant local awards.
