My approach is a kind of visual haiku, using found materials to make small ephemeral works.

The vial is like a journal page that variously holds or supports the response to the day's prompts.

The choice of materials is significant, as is their arrangement and recurrence during the series.

Works like these are part of my practice but I have not shown them publicly before now. As a result of this project I am working more deliberately on a series based on responses to the changing seasons in a new neighbourhood.
